What Youareoncall collects, why it is collected, who it is shared with, and how to have it deleted. Last updated 8 September 2026.

Who we are

Youareoncall is an IT service-desk training simulator, operated from Australia. It lets people practise support calls and tickets against AI-generated callers and simulated computers. It is a learning tool: it provides no live IT support and holds no real company’s data.

For any privacy question, including a request to see or delete your data, use product support. We aim to reply within five business days.

What we collect

Account details. Your email address, the name you give us, and an optional profile picture. If you sign in with Google, see the Google section below.

Practice activity. Which scenarios you attempted, the text transcript of each call, the tickets you worked and the messages you wrote, the score and written feedback produced afterwards, and when each of these happened.

Microphone audio, while a call is running. Your speech is streamed to our AI voice provider so the caller can respond and so the conversation can be transcribed. Raw audio is not recorded or stored by us, and is not retained after the call ends. The text transcript is kept.

Usage and billing records. Call counts, durations, model usage and estimated costs, used to apply your plan’s allowance and to keep the service affordable to run. If you subscribe, our payment provider holds your payment details; we store only a customer reference, your plan, and its renewal date.

Support requests. The category, subject and description you submit, so we can answer you.

We do not use advertising trackers, we do not sell personal information, and we do not build advertising profiles.

Signing in with Google

Signing in with Google is optional; an email address and password works just as well. If you choose it, Google tells us three things: your email address, your name, and your profile picture.

Those are used only to create and identify your account and to show who is signed in. We request no other scope. We cannot read your Gmail, your contacts, your calendar, your files, or anything else in your Google account, and we never post anything to it.

We do not receive or store your Google password. You can disconnect Youareoncall at any time from your Google account permissions, and you can ask us to delete the account entirely through product support.

Why we collect it

To run the thing you asked for: to hold your account, generate a caller who responds to what you actually say, mark the call against the scenario’s hidden ground truth, and show you your history so you can see improvement over time.

Also to apply your plan’s call allowance, to prevent abuse of an expensive service, to answer support requests, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.

Who it is shared with

Only the providers needed to run the service. Each receives the minimum required, and none of them are permitted to use your information for their own purposes.

OpenAI — receives your call audio and transcripts to generate the caller’s speech and produce your evaluation. It receives a one-way hashed identifier rather than your account id or email, so it cannot identify you.
Supabase — hosts the database and authentication. Located in Sydney, Australia.
Vercel — hosts and serves the application.
Stripe — processes subscription payments and holds your card details. We never see or store your full card number.
Cloudflare — provides DNS for our domain.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect the safety and security of the service and its users.

Where it is stored

Your account, transcripts, evaluations and usage records are stored in Sydney, Australia. Some providers above process data in other countries, including the United States, under contractual protections for international transfers.

How long it is kept

Call audio — not stored at all.
Account details — until you ask us to delete the account.
Transcripts, tickets and evaluations — until you delete them or the account, so your history remains useful to you.
Usage and billing records — up to seven years where required for tax and accounting, then deleted.
Support requests — two years after the request is closed.

Deleting your account removes your profile, transcripts, tickets and evaluations. Records we must keep for legal reasons are retained without your name attached.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, correct anything wrong, or have your account and its history deleted. You can also withdraw consent for optional processing, and object to how we handle your information.

Ask through product support and we will act on it within thirty days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Security

Your data is served over HTTPS and separated at the database level so one account cannot read another’s. Sensitive keys are held on the server and never sent to the browser. No system is perfect; if a breach ever affects you, we will tell you and the relevant regulator as the law requires.

Cookies

We set only what is needed to keep you signed in and to keep sign-in secure. There are no advertising or analytics cookies, so there is no consent banner to dismiss.

Children

Youareoncall is intended for people aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has created an account, tell us and we will remove it.

Please do not enter real credentials

This is a training environment. Every caller is generated by AI and no real company data is used. Do not say or type real passwords, MFA codes, recovery codes, API keys, customer records, or anything confidential from your employer — in a call, a ticket, or a support request.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that materially affects you, we will update the date above and tell you in the product before the change takes effect.
